About us
In the late 70s I found it was getting harder to find original Mercedes spare parts, so I started actively tracking them down and selling them on to interested collectors. Over the years, these initial steps in classic car business turned into a flourishing trade in rare vehicles in the premium segment, which took me on countless travels, to everywhere from Africa and Russia to South America.
My main establishment in Hamburg, founded as E. Thiesen KG (now Eberhard Thiesen GmbH & Co. KG) was extended in 2003 by two further, independent, operations in Hamburg and Berlin, from which I withdrew entirely in the course of 2018.
